Guard My Angel is a geo-location personal safety application that helps you feel safer and be safer everywhere you go.
Guard My Angel watches over you without compromising your privacy and automatically detects emergency situations. In the time of need, it alerts your pre-selected contacts with the information they need to provide assistance.
Before you’re heading out, you set a timer for approximately how long the activity should take, and when you’re done you simply indicate that you are OK. If you don’t or if you press the SOS button, or if we detect accident forces, your pre-selected contacts will immediately receive notifications with a link to a Google map which tracks the phone to the last traceable location.

Guard My Angel is a mobile personal security application designated to send notification in case you reach a situation where help may be needed (the “Services”).
You may control your profile and how you interact with the Services by changing your settings. You may or may not fill up your personal details as part of your profile, but in case you do provide us with your contact information such as email and phone number you consent to the Company’s use of this information to send you notices, updated, special offers, and other messages. If you do not want to receive such messages, you can remove your contact information at any time.
You may also control the list of contacts, social communities, and organization who will be notified in case you reach situation where you may need help.
YOU HEREBY DECLARE THAT THE CONTACTS YOU ENTER TO THE GUARD MY ANGEL APP. ARE AWARE OF SUCH ACTION AND GAVE YOU THEIR PRIOR CONSENT AND APPROVAL TO BE NOTIFIED IN CASE YOU REACH A SITUATION WHERE YOU MAY NEED HELP.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, any new features that augments or enhances the current Services, including the release of new properties, shall be subject to these TOS. You agree not to display or use the Company Trademarks in any manner other than for your own personal use.
Nothing in these TOS constitutes a waiver of the Company’s intellectual property rights under any law. Use of the Services in violation of the limited License hereunder will result in the termination of the License and may expose you to claims for damages and/or other legal proceedings. You agree and declare to take all necessary and appropriate measures to prevent any unauthorized disclosure or use of the Services, or any part thereof, either by you and/or by others.
The access and use of the Services shall be at all times under your sole responsibility for all acts or omissions associated with your access and use of the Services. You will abide all laws, rules and regulations whether local or foreign which govern the use of the Services.
You declare and agree not to, in any way: (i) access (or attempt to access) the Services by any unauthorized or automated means, other than through the interface that is provided by the Company; (ii) breach these TOS or any other applicable rules and instructions that we may convey with respect to the use of the Services; (iii) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or damage the performance of the Services or any other computer system or network or circumvent or manipulate the operation, or functionality of the Services, including any hosting services provided by third parties to facilitate the Services; (iv) use robots, crawlers and similar applications to collect and compile Content from the Services, for the purposes of competing with the Services, or in such ways that might impair or disrupt the Services’ functionality; (v) engage with any illegal activities, including advertising, transmitting, or otherwise making available gambling sites or services or disseminating, promoting or facilitating child pornography; (vi) violate the security or integrity of any network, computer or communications system, software application, or network or computing device involved in the Services.
The prohibited conduct you hereby agree to abide shall include, but is not limited to, the upload of content or initiation of communications which are unlawful, defamatory, abusive, offensive, racist, obscene, pornographic, discriminatory, an invasion of privacy, harmful to a minor or otherwise infringement on any intellectual property rights of a third party or would otherwise violate any third party rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property right. You may not use the Services in order to stock or harass anyone and/or in any abusive manner toward third parties.
ALTHOUGH THE COMPANY IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO DO SO, COMPANY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE AND PERMANENTLY DELETE ANY CONTENT FROM THE SERVICES WITHOUT NOTICE, AND FOR ANY REASON COMPANY DEEMS SUFFICIENT.
Registration with the Services is free of charge but the Company reserves the right to alter the free of charge services into paid services, at any time as deems reasonable to the Company and in accordance with its business plan. However, certain services are paid services, as stated below. If you fail to settle your fees to our satisfaction, then your account shall be immediately terminated.
As of the date of these TOS, our paid services are premium notification services. Because the Services are purchased via Android Market or iTunes App Store the Company does not collect the funds paid by the User on its own but rather uses well known methods of funds collection provided by the Android Market or iTunes App Store, all in accordance with the terms of service of Google or Apple.
If you wish to purchase any additional purchasable items such as premium notification services, this will also be paid via the Android Market or iTunes App Store, all in accordance with the terms of service of Google or Apple. The use of your personal data is subject to the Company’s Privacy Policy, as set below and/or any third parties’ privacy policy.
PLEASE NOTE, ALL PURCHASED SERVICES ARE NONE REFUNDABLE. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR MONEY BACK IN ANY CASE OF TERMINATION OF THE SERVICES WHETHER IF TERMINATED BY US, FOR ANY REASON AND AT ANY TIME, OR BY YOU.
The initial login process done automatically as soon as you approve these TOS. On successful login we assign you a User ID to remain visible to you on the ‘about’ page of the App. You agree to maintain your User ID in absolute confidentiality and refrain from disclosing it to any third party. Moreover as part of your application set-up you may provide us more personal details on yourself and on the contact you choose to notify in case of emergency stage reached.
You are fully accountable for any outcome resulting from your failure to provide true, accurate and complete details in the course of the registration and usage of the application, and for any use or misuse of your account as a result of conveying your details to someone else.
THE SERVICES, INCLUDING ALL CONTENT, SOFTWARE, DOCUMENTS, FUNCTIONS, MATERIALS, PICTURES, VIDEO, GRAPHICS, AND INFORMATION MADE AVAILABLE ON OR ACCESSED THROUGH OR SENT FROM THE SERVICE, ARE PROVIDED AS IS. THESE FACTORS ARE NOT FAULT FREE! THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT OR GURANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL OPERATE WITHOUT DISRUPTION, LIMITATIONS, DELAYS, INTERRUPTIONS OR ERRORS, OR THAT IT WILL BE ACCESSIBLE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES, OR IMMUNE FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OR ERROR FREE.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES THAT ARE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY RELATED TO THE USE OF, OR THE INABILITY TO USE, OR THE PERFORMANCE OF, THE SERVICES, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE OR THE COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORTIOUS ACTION.
IN NO EVENT SHAL THE COMPANY’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNTS ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICES IN THE PERIOD DURING WHICH THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO SUCH CLAIM OCCURRED.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Company harmless with respect to any and all costs, claims, demands, investigations, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, settlements, costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees arising out of or in connection with these TOS, including, without limitation, your use of the Services and/or otherwise. Specifically, without derogating from the generality of the foregoing, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Company harmless against any loss or damage arising from your unauthorized use of the Guard My Angel App and/or the Website or your disclosure of any password or user name and from all actions, proceedings, claims, demands, costs (including legal costs), awards and damages howsoever arising, directly or indirectly as a result of any breach or non-performance by you of any of your obligations under these TOS.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company retains the exclusive right to settle, compromise and pay any and all claims, demands, proceedings, suits, actions or causes of actions which are brought against the Company herein under the terms and provisions of this Section and in no event shall you settle any such claim without Company's prior written approval.
THIS AGREEMENT AND THE INTERPRETATION OF ITS TERMS SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL, WITHOUT REGARD TO ITS CONFLICTS OF LAWS RULES.
The provisions of these TOS and specifically the sections dealing with intellectual property, disclaimer of warranty, limitation of liability and indemnification, shall survive the termination and/or expiration of these TOS.
These TOS contain the sole and entire agreement between the parties with respect to the use of the Services and supersedes any and all other prior written or oral agreements between them. Such details will allow us to provide you with a better service.
Automatic Information – When using the Guard My Angel App., we may also collect certain standard Personal Information that your mobile phone transmits, such as your operating system type and release, operator name from the SIM, the type of language selected on the phone by the User, device manufacturer and type. We usually collect such information to provide support for the User and for general statistics. In addition, we may also collect other information from you such as location information, your cell phone battery level and more.
Anonymous Information – We work with service providers to learn about the usage patterns of ‘Guard My Angel’. Through this information we are able to improve our service and make your experience of ‘Guard My Angel’ better. These service providers may use tracking pixel, agent or any other visitor identification technology that collects anonymous data about our end users. This information is non-personally identifiable and is used for an aggregate picture of how visitors use our application.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO USE AND SHARE ANY PERSONAL AND/OR NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES FOR ANY LAWFUL PURPOSE SUCH AS THE ISSUANCE OF A COURT ORDER.

No, we provide access to this information only when we send the notifications to your pre-defined contacts.
We clear trip information periodically for trips that took place more than 24 hours ago.
After we send the notification, the trip information is available to anyone who has the link we published in the emergency notification. You can forward the information to other friends by sending the link.
The link will not work after we delete the information from the servers – after 24 hours.
We understand that we request you for some permissions. Here is a detailed explanation of why we need each permission. Also please take a look in our Privacy Policy where we detail our commitment to your privacy.
This permission is required so we can provide your contacts a map with your route in the case of an emergency. Of course we dont disclose this information to anyone unless you reach an emergency situation and we delete this information completely after 24 hours from our servers.
We require this permission so we can send the information we collect from your device to our servers. In case of an emergency we send a notification from our servers and not your device to provide a reliable service (so even if your phone breaks your contacts will still get a notification).
We ask permission to read your contacts so you will be able to add contacts from your address book to your notification list and not add them manually.
There are 2 reasons for this permission:
This is a very important permission that allows us to collect your location even when the device is in sleep mode. This happens for example when you are not using your phone and screen is off. Without this permission we wouldn't be able to get your complete trip information.
Your contacts may get partial information about your location and will not be able to give you the help you need.
The accuracy of the location retrieved from the mobile device depends on many factors. The estimated accuracy information for your first and last location information in the map is provided in the notifications if you reach emergency state.
Yes, Location information may be retrieved from GPS satellites, Wi-Fi, and/or mobile network. When GPS based location is not able to be determined, we will try to get your location via other means (Wi-Fi and mobile network).
We do not capture your mobile location information continuously to save on battery consumption. We have worked hard to optimize the application to be as efficient on your battery as possible to enable you to run the application and use your phone normally otherwise for as long as you need it.
Yes, the notifications are sent from our server and NOT sent from your mobile device. So even if your device is not working from any reason your contacts will still get a notification once the timer you set expires.
In an emergency situation we send up to two SMS for each contact in your list.

Car accidents exert extreme acceleration forces on the phone. When you activate the application with 'Watch Over Me' and this option is enabled, we will monitor your acceleration and trigger emergency alert as soon as we identify abnormal forces that are typically observed during car accident. We will trigger an alert only when the forces exceed 5G-Force that are unlikely to occur when dropping the phone.
You can enter phone numbers in almost any format. However, there are still some cases that the phone number is considered 'invalid'. When entering a phone number, the country code is fetched from your phone and then added to the phone number you entered (if the country code is not already part of the number). In case your phone doesn't have a sim card or for some other reason the country code is not available, you will get the 'invalid number' error.
To overcome this you can enter the phone number in the following format manually: + < country-code > < number >

'Guard My Angel' is a simple application that provides the comfort of knowing that someone will help you if you get into an emergency situation.
When you are safe and no longer wish our service to watch over you, you can stop the service countdown by clicking the I'm OK! button and we will avoid sending any emergency notification to your configured contacts.
If the countdown expires without you stopping it, our service will send notifications to the contacts you configured in your set-up. Notifications will be sent even if the phone is dead or no longer in your possession.
Your notification list of contacts will received notice that you may be in an emergency situation and will be able to get information about your last known location and periodic locations from the point you requested our service to watch over you. Most importantly, your most recent location will continue to be updated periodically for 4 hours after your have reached an emergency situation or until you ask the service to stop watching over you.
The notification section enables you to configure to whom the notification will be sent and the type of notification that will be used in the case you reach an emergency state.

We will trigger and alert only when the forces exceed 5G-Force that are unlikely to occur when dropping the phone. Enabling this option does consume more battery, but it is optimized for minimal battery usage.
To Enable/Disable the abnormal acceleration detection you can simply click the Enable Auto detect accident check-box.
You can protect your service with a 4 digit password for your safety. When enabled, it provides an extra level of security and requires the user to type in the same 4 digit pin-code to stop an active session.
When enabling the password, you will be asked to enter a 4 digit pin-code when you click on the enable box. You can disable it at any time, but if you are in an active session it will require you to re-enter your pin-code beforehand.
When you ask our service to watch over you for any duration you pick in advance, you will get a reminder 5 minutes before the timer expires to avoid false alarms. On an android device the reminder will pop up in the status bar, vibrate your phone, and play an audible notification. The audible notification can be disabled for your safety if needed
To Enable/Disable the audio notification you can simply click the Enable audio reminder check-box.

The name you choose will be used to identify you by your contacts in the notification list, you can choose any name or keyword that will be recognized by the receiver of the emergency request.
The phone number may also be included in the emergency notification for quicker access to call you back.
The email you enter may be used by our service to send you important updates regarding the service.

When your application reaches an emergency state, our servers will send notification with a request for help to the contacts you selected in advance and/or post on your Facebook wall such request.
The notification will include text that either suggest that you may be in emergency situation (in the case that the count-down expired) or that you asked for immediate help (if you clicked the SOS button)
If we already collected location information from your mobile device each notifier will get a link to a map that they can open on any device that is capable of showing '��Google Map'. The map link can be refreshed to get the most updated location information from our server.
Last location is indicated by and placed on the last location received from the mobile device.
The receiver can click on the icon to get more information
Start location is indicated by the default Google place mark and points to the first location received from the mobile device, typically in the area the user pressed the Watch Over Me button.
